Polydora is in good nick after Chepstow and was back cantering this morning.

There is no denying Fakenham is charming and very well run, getting away from that it isn’t I place I want to go back to, the track resembles a flapping track. Cora Sundrop didn’t cope at all, she slipped on the first bend, clipped heels with another horse on another bend and simply didn’t handle the track at all. I have had 3 runners there and won’t be in a rush to have another. However, I wouldn’t discourage anyone to go racing there, it has a lovely feel with all sorts of market trade stands and mobile food outlets. Cora Sundrop is fine this morning and enjoyed her day in the paddocks. I think, it has been agreed she will now go over hurdles.

This morning we schooled all the 3 year olds down on the schooling strip which proved to be successful. David John, Colt Lightning, Mary Eleanor, Snapdragon Fire, Thomas Patrick, Luck of the Legion, Silk Run, Thistle do Nicely, Sir Egbert, Sword of Fate, He’s a Goer and Jester jet all jumped a couple of lines of 4 hurdles. Kimberlite Candy and the 3 year olds jumped fences. Guy Roberts was here to watch all proceedings and to see Kateson and Fair Kate.

Stop Press!

Fibre Optic is now installed and working here. I can only wish anyone luck if they wish to have it installed at their place. My Hindi has come on leaps and bounds and with tolerance being one of my main attributes we have finally won the battle. Guy Roberts had a very similar experience, between us we have a number of BT hubs going relatively cheaply and are open to offers.
