Baking hot race meetings at Worcester soon came back around, the penny hasn’t dropped with Easter Rocket, he is a horse that has found life very easy at home and never been asked to lengthen or gallop off the bridle, he will get there in time and the racecourse is the only place he can learn his job. I think we have agreed he will now get a summer and be back for an autumn campaign over hurdles. 

Vivant won by too far and I dread to think what the handicapper will have to say, the likelihood is, she will have to go in a novice with a penalty next time. 

The babies from Goffs UK are now riding around the ménage and doing it all nicely. Yesterday Midnight Henry arrived, he is a half brother to Kateson and is a monster for a 2-year-old. Hopefully he has done his growing and won’t get too much bigger. He is a beautiful horse, unbeaten and the dreams of Gold Cups are alive.
