I had a sit on the Getaway horse we bought at Doncaster this morning, he’s a fine horse and has a good way of going. I also sat on Mundi, a half bred who, I think will go eventing. He’s only 2 years old but he doesn’t half cover the ground. It was then into the lorry for the afternoon. The 2 year olds I own with Neal and Heather went back to their place, I’ve had them for 6 odd weeks and just played around with them. They’ve all been long reined, had the tack on and thankfully, aren’t quite so feral. I then dropped Triopas off to his new owner’s farm where he will summer before returning to race under rules. It was then up to Stow-on-the Wold to collect Gabriel Oats. Gabriel Oats has been leased and in training with Graeme McPherson, the lease is over and the owner has kindly decided to send him here. We will see where we are with him over the next couple of weeks, he’s had 2 quick runs so we will just take our time with him. The final leg of my driving was collecting the kids from school.
