Today we worked First Du Charmil, Isle of Ewe, Chase End Charlie and many unnamed 4 year old geldings.

My thoughts on allowing professional trainers to run 4 and 5 year olds in maiden p2p’s isn’t so stupid, there are only 5 entries for the 4 and 5 year old maiden race at Larkhill on Sunday and Sophie has 2 of them. Larkhill is as good if not better than many racecourses up and down the country and to only receive 5 entries at this time of year is a massive shame and shock. I’ve no idea why it hasn’t worked - it maybe that the horses just aren’t there and those that are don’t want to compete at Larkhill.
