This morning we worked JohnBB and Dorking Cock. Many of the others covered the same amount of ground but a gear or two slower. Kimberlite Candy and Kateson schooled over fences.  The rain held off but is making up for it now. I’m not over impressed with Wetherby as they were under water last week yet claimed they had dried back to good to soft, a few millimeters of rain later they were verging on heavy. The owner even rang the course to be told it was no worse than good to soft. Le Grand Fromage didn’t go a yard and Nico said he was nursing him along for as long as he could on it.

Tomorrow, we head to Ascot with Dorking Boy and Flashing Glance. To read my thoughts click here. Another £500 will soon be on its way to Katharine House Hospice, the hospice fell over £400,000 short of much needed funds last year. I am most grateful to all of those who have signed up to my thoughts and continue to subscribe. I will let you know when we have a horse who I think is going to be very hard to beat. For those who logged in last night I am sorry I failed to make the blog live.
