Within a week we are taking horses out for firm and heavy ground. We seem to be getting nothing but extreme weather patterns of late and it is frustrating for all. 

I don’t think I would call Bangor heavy today, but it was certainly soft and must have been verging on heavy by the time the bumper was run.  Le Grand Fromage ran his race as did San Agustin, both horses will get their day in lights at some stage. Le Grand Fromage needs the handicapper to cut him some slack but I won’t be holding my breath. 

This morning Gold Clermont, Nocte Volatus and Yes No Maybe So had a pop over some hurdles. I expect the forecast rain will take Yes No Maybe So out of his intended engagement on Sunday, Nocte Volatus heads to Ffos Las tomorrow. To read my thoughts click here. The others all had quiet canters.
