Those in full work put in some hard yards around the sand gallop, since the digger flipped it and the two loads of sand have been added it rides like a sponge, you can’t hear the horses put their feet down.

Those who have finished have had their rugs removed tonight having been stripped throughout the day for a week or more.

The sound of strimmer’s working in the afternoon has come around far too quickly. My mower deck broke last weekend so that remains in the menders as the grass takes over with heavy dues at night and scorching sunshine throughout the day.

I am thrilled to let you know Hereford Racecourse raised £47,000 for St Micheal's Hospice this week. We will be welcoming six people for a morning on the gallops and brunch in our village pub

The taps are on in Aintree and we are hoping for some rain to follow at Aintree for our runners. What's good for Aintree is good for Maisemore. Gloucester Races this Sunday is a great day with plenty happening for people of all ages. We will be runnning Neville's Cross at Maisemore.
