Pounding Poet and Camembert Electric are both in fine fettle after running at Aintree yesterday. Pounding Poet finished off a frustrating week of second places. I think the result may have been different if the rain had come sooner and a little more of it.

Dorking Boy made the journey to Ayr worthwhile; I would travel any distance for a winner and thankfully he delivered. I’m On Snap was disappointing. I think 3 mile may just be a bridge too far. Depending on how she comes out of her run and what the ground will be in three weeks’ time will depend on whether we give her a break or drop back in trip and ride her on the front end.
