Rosmuc Relay in is fine shape after his win at Uttoxeter on Saturday. I rode for Perriss's and it was lovely to train a winner for John and Penny who I have known for many years. Marty Time too seems in good shape after his run at Chepstow yesterday, he will be a staying chaser. I’ve always liked him and we have purposely been patient with him.  He is still so green to the point of embarrassment. 

Typical Monday morning canters for the majority of the horses, New Moon and Flashing Glance schooled over fences. My alarm went off twenty five minutes earlier than normal as 4 A.M as we took Neville’s Cross, JohnBB and Kimberlite Candy on an away trip to gallop two miles on grass. 

Pounding Poet managed to win in spite of having to find his way through a wall of horses, I was delighted for Toni and David who have given the horse time and allowed him to come to hand. If you subscribe to my thoughts that should have covered next years subscription for just a small stake.
