Thank you to everyone who text, emailed or Wattsapp me over Grizzman, I am sorry not to have replied to each and everyone of you but your thoughts were much appriciated. There is simply no worse feeling. 

Adrimel lifted the spirits this afternoon at Haydock winning well in the end. I think Clive Woodward would have described it as winning ugly. Having had time to reflect, I think they went a very honest gallop from flag fall on a track that was always going to be challenging for Adrimel to cope with. The track was a huge concern of mine and he proved me right in being good enough to win in spite of it. He does however, need to sharpen up mentally and that will, I hope, come in time. 

This morning we worked Hazzaar, L’Incorrigible, Gold Clermont, Marty Time, Piaff Bubbles, King Ferdinand, Velasco, Lagonda, Stunsail, Scipion, Roger Rarebit, Ginny’s Destiny, Vado Forte, Glory and Honour and Benito. The horses seem in good order and long may it continue. 

I’m rushing again as I have agreed to do a podcast thing with some guys. 

That time of year is on us again, Christmas songs just don’t do it for me, thank god for radio five.
