Charlie and Adam Horne came to watch 2 lots first think this morning. Adam is a share holder in The Pudlicote Partnership, which currently has 5 horses in it. It was pretty chilly this morning at -11, the temperature raised to -8 mid morning and was -1 when I came home for lunch. The snow has arrived but judging by the forecast it will be gone by lunchtime tomorrow. This weather must play havoc with trainers wanting to get final runs into horses before Cheltenham. They must be getting stressed!!!!!!
England won their opening match, well Scotland lost it by failing to execute their opportunities. I was very impresses with the Scottish number 8 David Denton who looks world class, he was everywhere, a huge presence and only 21 years old.
Tomorrow we've an easy day in the yard as all racing was cancelled in plenty of time. Once i've built a snowman with the kids and got them cold enough not to want to go back outside I think I'll light the fire and watch Ireland V Wales.
